Our original idea, in 1999 was to review and feature just a few dozen Web sites for this online links report as a section of taosplaza.com. The lure of Taos cyberspace, however, was just too much to resist. So, we looked at about 98% of Taos cyberspace, we estimate, and listed about 600 Taos Web sites when taoslink.com was first published. Taos cyberspace is, yes, different than Taos "actual" space. There are many aspects of "actual" Taos that are not represented on Taos' "virtual" space. An example is every locals favorite Sushi Bar, Ginza Sushi. Mr. Kim doesn't want or really need a Web site - the food is wonderful, the customers are happy. But if there is a Web site that represents Taos on the Web somewhere you can most likely find it on a taoslink.com page.

taoslink.com offers a unique overview of Taos cyberspace, and "connects the dots" to the puzzle of the online world of Taos.
Now it's estimated there are over 1500 genuine web sites in Taos cyberspace. That's actually quite amazing for a town the size of Taos.
We'll continue to look at Taos cyberspace and reflect what we can of it on these links to Taos online.
