The house is a 6,000 square foot solar adobe with natural adobe walls and stone floors. It is furnished in a comfortable southwestern style, and features the owners' contemporary art collection. Breakfast is served overlooking the gorge in the 1600 square foot common room, which is circular and surrounded by glass. Guests are welcome anytime in the common room - it's great for bird watching or just looking at the mountains. There's even a baby grand you are welcome to play. Dobson House has two suites, spacious (500 square foot) for two but able to accommodate four. Each Dobson House suite has separate sleeping and sitting areas, a bathroom with tiled shower, and a self-contained stove for extra warmth on cold winter nights.
