Tree of Life Homeopathy
Alternative medicine has always fascinated Jun Greathouse. She grew up in a conservative part of the country, in a farming community in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Doctors in her hometown practiced traditional allopathic medicine and there was little or no interest in alternative health care. Jun Greathouse inherited a serious autoimmune disorder and trying to find medical help for my illness became extremely frustrating. She tried everything that she possibly knew to get help while her condition became worse. She was given the impression from her medical doctors that maybe this was all psychological, so she decided to attend college and major in psychology and see if maybe she could help other people in her situation. After finishing, she soon learned that an hour or so sitting and talking to a psychotherapist or a psychiatrist was not the answer to anyone's chronic illness. Then through sheer luck she came across a chance to study herbal medicine with Dr. John Christopher and Dr. Shultz at the University of Natural Healing in Provo, Utah. This was very enlightening and helped with her illness to a large extent but did not make her healthy or able to function well in life.
While studying herbal medicine Jun Greathouse traveled to Taos, NM to get the herbs that she needed and went on herbal tours with the Taos Herb Co. Finally she decided that Taos was where a great deal of natural healing seemed to be taking place so she convinced her family to move to New Mexico. The longer Jun Greathouse stayed in New Mexico the more she learn about the natural way of life.
