Taos School of Metalsmithing and Lapidary Design offers beginning through advanced classes in jewelry making and stone cutting. Small group classes and individual instruction are available throughout the year in a friendly, artistically stimulating environment. In summer, one-week classes focus on specific techniques. Workshops are taught by internationally recognized, Marilynn Nicholson. The rest of the year, the schedule includes hourly, half-day, full-day, weekend, and weekly classes, as well as guest artist workshops which vary from month to month. All of classes include introductions to metal artists, galleries, suppliers, and designer stone cutters.
