Embudo Station
Once home of a turn of the century narrow gauge railroad station between Santa Fe and Southern Colorado, Embudo Station is steeped in local history. From the hand built stone buildings, to the barely discernible narrow-gauge railroad bed, the land is filled with stories from the past. Though the train has not passed through Embudo in over 60 years, the restaurant still invites travelers to take a moment and enjoy the serenity of the Rio Grande from the river-front patio shaded by hundred year old cottonwoods. Located 25 miles south of Taos and 41 Miles north of Santa Fe on Highway 68, Embudo Station offers patio dining on the banks of the Rio Grande River.
