El Meze
At El Meze Restaurant, Chef Frederick Muller prepares fresh, regionally inspired cuisine from Spain and Northern New Mexico. He calls it, “La Comida de las Sierras,” the food of the mountains, fresh trout, jamon, corn and chiles, wild mushrooms from our mountain forests, local organic produce from our small farms. This is how Fred likes to eat and how he likes to cook, clean flavors, rustic and simple. Fred Muller has been involved with regional American cooking for over the last twenty five years. Fred's hope for El Meze,(meaning the table or tapas style) is to explore these symbiotic cultures in an artistic vision of exciting flavors that are historically embedded in Northern New Mexico. These are the flavors El Meze presents to you, Spanish cooking that is uniquely American.
