Arroyo Seco Mercantile
Arroyo Seco Mercantile sits in the heart of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, a 250 year old Hispanic village at the foot of the Sangre DeCristo Mountains. The building was built in the late 1800's to house the original village mercantile which not only accepted currency but also, hay, wool, and produce as barter for its goods. Arroyo Seco Mercantile's current store reflects this history in its selection of hardware, kitchen goods, blankets, toys, candy, and tinware. Arroyo Seco Mercantile is proud to offer many old time, hard to find items that still "get the job done" as well as a wonderful collection of antique tools, furniture, and housewares that reflect the history of life in this historic valley.
