Taos Fall Arts. Taos Medical Services Foundation (a non-profit organization) believes that Art is the Heart of Taos. The Foundation sponsors two prestigious shows each fall. This is an exciting time for the artists, their patrons, the many volunteers and the citizens of Taos. Taos Invites Taos includes works by over 150 established artists from Taos County. Working in a variety of mediums, showing in a gallery or their own studios, the artists have lived here for at least 5 years. Taos Open features works of over 250 local artists who have lived here for at least one year. The proceeds of these two exhibits will benefit the Taos Medical Services Foundation's goals to fund requests from Taos County's Holy Cross Hospital that enhance, maintain and increase services beyond the basics; to fund and sponsor health-related scholarships for the County's students; and to be a catalyst in the community on health care issues. To date, the Foundation has purchased special equipment for the hospital, initiated the Kids in Need Fund, and established an endowment fund. Taos Invites Taos artwork is available for sale online.
