View of the Summit adjacent to the Chile Express chairlift. Visitors unload for the high-speed quad chair here and can hit the backside or front- side of the mountain, or hang out at the Summit Haus restaurant, grab a drink and a chair and watch the action in Liberation Park. While the area pictured is over 10,600' elevation, and gets the highest snowfall, this particular area is exposed to high wind, like any mountain summit. It's thanks to the great efforts of Angel Fire Resort's snow groomers that the summit is an easy, comfortable unload area with plenty of options for skiers and riders of all abilities, in any direction.
