Susan Powter
Susan Powter said, "I'm not coming to New York," Powter told The Taos News Monday night. "I came to Taos with one suitcase full of clothes and the other full of art and I literally said, 'I'm not coming back.' You know how they say the mountain either accepts you or rejects you? Well, the mountain covered me in cashmere."
Now Powter says she's going back to work in Taos as she awaits the publication of her eighth book and raises her youngest son. While Powter said she couldn't release the full details of what she had planned, she said she was considering going back into television and pursuing several multimedia ventures as well as her art. Most importantly, Powter says she's going to be doing it all from her new homebase in Taos.
"I don't think I need to stop the insanity in Taos," Powter said. "I kind of like it."
