This link is to the Web site of New Mexico's Democratic Party. Although George Bush took the election, Taos County elected John Kerry President of the United States. Senator Kerry had a whopping 10843 votes(74%) to President Bush's 3626 (24.8%). Taos County is one of the bluest in America,
