Design House LLC is a one-woman architectural firm founded by me, Donna LeFurgey. Donna has been living and designing in Taos for over 30 years. When she came to Taos, she designed and owner-built her own passive solar adobe home, which she still lives in. Throughout Donna LeFurgey's years in Taos, she has been actively involved in construction, not only in the building of her own home, but she has worked on construction crews building adobe spec homes, acted as a sub-contractor (laying brick floors, plastering interior and exterior, and laying adobes) and have supervised Habitat for Humanity volunteers building homes in Taos.
