Henningsen Fine Art features world-class photography and fine art glass. Located in northern New Mexico, the gallery draws on the long traditions of the Taos Art Colony. The gallery features such luminary photographers as Ansel Adams, Chuck Henningsen, Jerry Uelsman, Yousef Karsh, and many others. Printmaking is represented by many forms, from platinum and silver to digital. Our glass artists also work in many varied forms as well; slumped, blown, sculpted, cast, and pate de verre to mention a few. Works by Taos Pueblo artists Ira Lujan (glass) and John Suazo (stone) are also prominately displayed. Working with the brilliant Santa Fe architect, Jeff Harnar, we designed a twenty-five-hundred square foot, state of the art darkroom and studio on the lower-level of the gallery. The following year, we completed a six thousand square foot, three story, ultra modern art space over the studio. Both the gallery and studio have won numerous awards and have been featured in several national magazines.
