Ray Suncatcher now paints using soft pastel. His ground is black gesso and pumice gel. He uses the black because it gives a more graphic effect. He also uses oils, although he don't mix the two media. Ray Suncatcher currently creates some colorful fish using a pallet knife and oils. His goal is to live near the Pacific ocean and paint a larger variety of fish. He wants to do some artwork to help conserve our oceans, since they are the engines that run the planet.
